Sous les arches majestueuses du Palais de la Porte Dorée, le Musée de l’Histoire de l’Immigration raconte les parcours, les espoirs et les héritages de celles et ceux venus bâtir la France d’aujourd’hui. Dès l’extérieur, l’édifice impressionne par sa façade sculptée, véritable fresque de diversité et d’histoire.

Inauguré en 2007, ce musée retrace deux siècles de mouvements migratoires en France à travers des témoignages, des œuvres et des archives. Le bâtiment, construit pour l’Exposition coloniale de 1931, est en lui-même un monument historique, à la fois témoin d’un passé complexe et lieu de réflexion contemporaine.

En passant devant le musée en Solex, le guide racontera l’histoire du palais, ses métamorphoses, et les grandes étapes de l’immigration en France. Le parcours sillonne l’est parisien, entre mémoire, modernité et mixité, offrant une visite guidée aussi humaine qu’instructive.
